The Project

Build your own little world under glass. 🌿

For this Studio Tuesday, we're getting our hands a little dirty and creating a beautiful glass terrarium filled with living plants, natural textures and your own creative touches.

Colleen will guide you step by step through building your terrarium, from creating the base layers and arranging your plants to adding the finishing details that make each piece completely unique. You'll also learn the basics of terrarium care, including how to keep your miniature ecosystem happy once you bring it home.

No plant or terrarium experience is needed. Everything will be ready for you when you arrive — simply choose your materials, play with the arrangement and enjoy the process of creating something living with your own hands.

Your ticket includes your glass terrarium vessel, plants, soil and layering materials, decorative elements, guided instruction, and complimentary access to the Createful Spaces coffee + tea bar.

You'll leave with a finished terrarium ready to take home and enjoy — plus the knowledge to care for it long after Studio Tuesday is over.

About Studio Tuesdays

Studio Tuesdays is a weekly creative night hosted by Dots of Love Canada at Createful Spaces, in the heart of Winnipeg's Exchange District.

Each week features a different hands-on project designed to give you a chance to slow down, try something new, and spend an evening creating. No previous art or crafting experience is needed — you'll be guided through the project step by step, with plenty of room to add your own creative touch.

Your Host

Studio Tuesdays is led by Colleen Havrilenko, artist and creative educator behind Dots of Love Canada. Colleen has been teaching creative workshops throughout Manitoba for years, welcoming both complete beginners and experienced makers into approachable, encouraging creative experiences.
